Rooms
Al Bandar offers 198 luxurious guest rooms - All rooms are 38sq m (47 sq m including the balcony) are sea facing and have private balconies, terraces or patios. Room facilities include: 24-hour room service, coffee and tea making facilities, broadband internet access (chargeable), satellite TV, iron & ironing board, electronic safes, voice mail and bathrooms with separate shower and bath.
Interconnecting Rooms Policy
Please note the hotel will not guaratee interconnecting rooms under any circumstances. The only room categories where rooms do interconnect at Al Bandar are Suites which connect to Deluxe rooms. Please contact us for details.
Rollaway Beds Policy
Only one rollaway bed (or cot) can be put into a room that has a King size bed. Due to space contraints a rollaway bed cannot be put in a room which has Twin beds. Please request the relevant bedding on booking.

A wide range of recreational facilities are available at the resort. From rejeuvenating treatments at the Chi Spa (due to open by late summer although treatments are available), saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzi and plunge pools to aerobics classes at the gymnasium. The resort has 6000 square metres of swimming pools as well as a 500 metre "lazy" river, and children's and toddlers swimming pools. A dedicated "Little Turtles" Kids Club (located at Al Waha) providing both indoor air conditioned and outdoor play areas, four tennis courts (at a charge) and a dive centre offering PADI dive instruction and certification as well as scuba diving (due to open by the end of May 2006), snorkelling, dolphin and whale watching trips and a marina with berthing for up to 80 boats and yachts.
